Linton

The village has a well documented history and contains many historic buildings crowded into its lanes. Situated on the ancient Icknield Way it offers pleasant walks, has an excellent bus service to Cambridge, and is only a few miles from the M11.

Alastair Sawday enjoyed our "happy combination of elegance and a bustling family atmosphere in a large 1840 Regency-style home" and highlighted our "exceptional value, so close to Cambridge". Staying Off The Beaten Track commended the gracious design of the house and the conservatory, where breakfast is often served under the mimosa tree.

Other meals are available at The Crown Inn, on the High Street, and The Dog & Duck by the river. These are only a few steps away from Horn Lane, and provide local and guest ales, good food in their restaurants and bar snacks.
